This is a site for those who loved Jay to share our stories and pictures. Jay lived 54 irrepressible, adventurous years and embraced many people, places, passions, and professions. We would love to hear how he showed up in your life.
A memorial fund has been established at the Indiana University Foundation to recognize Jay's extraordinary scholarship in Uyghur studies, and to support and encourage young scholars in the field. For details, please see below.
